Belly of Love - the environmentally friendly and socially conscious belly casting kit!
Plaster Gauze Rolls – The gauze we choose to use is unlike what any other belly cast in Australia uses. It's made from natural materials but is also medical grade to ensure the safety of our customers. The gauze is infused with plaster of paris which has a creamy texture to give the finished cast an ultra smooth finish plus strength you can count on. The rolls are rapid setting and they dry bright white.
Casting Crème – An all natural plant based barrier crème which smells divine! The casting crème is applied to the skin prior to the casting process to ensure the drying plaster cast does not dry out and stick to your skin. Unlike other kits, we choose not to use petroleum jelly or mineral oils (like Vaseline) which are the byproduct of the refining of petrol. Our crème is very nourishing for the skin, contains no petrochemicals and is 100% pure and natural. The crème contains the healing properties of cocoa butter. Cocoa Butter, is an excellent skin softner and is ideal for skin on the mend, including stretch marks and scar tissue.
Gesso & Brush – Will make the roughest of casts super smooth. Our Australian, made non-toxic gesso primer acts as a base and seals the belly cast making it ready for decorating. Accompanied by a natural bristle brush with wooden handle for easy application of the gesso.
Sanding Square – The flexible foam sanding pad is reusable and washable. Lasting up to 10x longer than regular sandpaper.
Drop sheet – Huge dropsheet for less mess and easy clean up
CD Rom – Comprehensive CD Rom includes a photo gallery of finished belly and lifecasts for inspiration and ideas, step by step ‘how to’ make a bellycast and ‘how to’ decorating ideas including mosaic, de-coupage and making a nightlight.
